Alonzo Franklin Berry Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Alonzo Franklin Berry (Bowling Green, Kentucky) is shared. Alonzo, born on June 29, 1944, passed away on July 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Alonzo will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Alonzo by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Alonzo is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Alonzo’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alonzo Franklin Berry and Ruby Berry (Gum); his wife Mary Ann Berry (Kessler); his daughter Jennie Chandra (Berry); and his grandchildren, Maya and Nathan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made in Franklin's memory to the Berry Public Service Fellowship Fund at the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law.
