We announce the death of Alton Buren Rone of Bowling Green, Kentucky, who passed away on July 8, 2026, at the age of 88. Alton will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Marconi and Vessie Elkin Rone; his brother Keith; his sister-in-law Norene Rone; his sister Marvene; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Davis and Larry Lawrence.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Rone; his pet Bo; his children, Lori De Leo (Dan), Lisa Shacklette (Michael) and Bill Pearson; his grandchildren, Brett Bohls, Ty Bohls, Amber Onkst (Noah) and Brittney Francke (Noah); and his great grandchildren, Lexi, Liam, Logan, Lorelei, Lincoln, Emma and Lennon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the Missions Ministry at Living Hope Baptist Church.
