She was predeceased by: her parents, James Yates and Goldie Yates; her husband Charles Casteel; and her grandchildren, Johnny Moore and Shawna Casteel.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Casteel (Peggy), Chuck Casteel (Dena), Jeff Casteel and Betty Pennington (Roger); her brother Donald Yates; and her caregiver Nancy Hall. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
