He is survived by: his mother Mary Margaret Meeks Pate (John); his caregiver Jinni; his children, Gabe and Chloe; his siblings, Heather Yates (Sean), Jennifer Level Leslie (Joe) and Henry Nettles (Cassandra); and his aunt Jenny Lynn Ragan.
