We announce the death of Barbara Jean Coakley (Bowling Green, Kentucky), who passed away on October 30, 2026, at the age of 83. Barbara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband David Coakley; and her parents, Barbara Lankford and Heather Lankford. She is survived by: her grandchildren, James Carey, Angelique Fitts, Christopher Eldridge (Julie), Shawn Davis, Dion Davis, Danielle Curran (Scott), David Curran, Emery Lankford, Buster Lankford, Krista White and Caelan White; her siblings, Judith Watiti (Tom), Jerome Wright and Terry Wright; Linda White (Chris). She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Ln, Bowling Green, KY 42104). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1428 Elm Hill Pike, Nashville, TN 37210).
