Betsy Moore Obituary

We announce the death of Betsy Moore of Bowling Green, Kentucky, who passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 86. Betsy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Marjorie Spears Johnson; her husband Edwin Owen Monroe; her daughter Teena Michelle Monroe; and her siblings, Sedell Johnson Neal and Rex Logan Johnson.

She is survived by: her sons, Tracey Monroe (Kathy) and Jonathan Monroe; and her grandchildren, Kirsten Monroe, Madison Monroe Churchwell, Bailey Rose Monroe, Colby Monroe and Bailey Cabaniss. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
