Betty touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Betty’s presence will be missed, the influence she had on others will remain. Those who knew her will carry forward memories that reflect her character and spirit.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy E. Gaddie and Nell Douglas Gaddie; her husband Monie Beard; and her sister Jamie Gaddie Higgins. She is survived by: her children, Roy Beard (Mary Anne) of Bowling Green, KY, Doug Beard (Cathy) of Bowling Green, KY, Page Beard of Bowling Green, KY and Sandy Hockensmith (Kent) of Jamestown, KY.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
