He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Watt Compton and William "Bud" Compton. He is survived by: his daughters, Sonia Compton Markham and Melissa Compton Morales; and his sons-in-law, John Marham and Jose Morales. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
