We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2025, Buddy Butler of Bowling Green, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Buddy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Buddy farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Butler and Oval Howell Butler; his wife Oleda Runner Butler; and his sisters, Lavinia Weber and Ruth Hyden.
He is survived by: his son Clint Butler (Tisia); and his granddaughter Telia Butler (Jeremy).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home (901 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (1209 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42103).
