He was predeceased by: his brother Jimmy Allen; and his daughter Elizabeth Jane. He is survived by: his spouse Jimmie Lou Paxton; his children, Sarah Allen Carroll of Greenville, Cindy McIntosh (Jerry) of Mayfield, Janet Allen of Bowling Green and Dr. Joseph Allen (McCall) of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Jacob Carroll (Whitney) of Bowling Green, Ben Carroll (Heather) of Bowling Green, Nicholas Carroll (Rachel) of Bowling Green, Leah Gilbert (Paul) of Ball Ground, GA, Matthew Carroll of Bowling Green, Katie Beth McCord (Kane) of Mayfield, Ross Allen of Bowling Green, Lucas Allen of Bloomington, IN, Lou-Evelyn Allen and Smith Allen of Bowling Green; and his great grandchildren, River of Bowling Green, Ryder of Bowling Green, Madilyn Lou Carroll of Bowling Green, Micah of Bowling Green, Norah Kate Carroll of Bowling Green and Penelope Carroll of Bowling Green. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
