It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Lloyd Owens of Bowling Green, Kentucky, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Durward "C. D." Owens and Mildred Corbitt Owens; and his wife Jessie "Lee Ann" Owens. He is survived by: his children, Josh Owens (Sarah) and Sara Waldo (Darren); his brothers, Garnett Owens of Bowling Green and Gary Owens (Cindy) of Seymour, IN; and his granddaughters, Lydia, Riley, Eliana and Eila.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Park Church of Christ (1818 Campbell Ln, Bowling Green, KY 42104). A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Of Christ Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Quality Church of Christ Cemetery or to Greenwood Park Church of Christ to benefit Taylor Christian Camp for the Eddie Scholarship Fund.
