Danilo Lardy Hernandez Obituary

Danilo L. Hernandez, age 64, peacefully passed away in Simpson County, Kentucky on Monday, April 7th, 2025 - Danilo was surrounded by his loving family.

Danilo was born in Piraera, Honduras on April 14th, 1960 to the late Pablo Cesar Hernandez and Maria Albertina Martinez.

He and his loving wife, Nora Meza spent over 36 years loving and caring for one another and their daughters.

Danilo was an Elementary School Teacher in his home country for over a decade, and then worked in automotive manufacturing in the city of Bowling green.

Danilo was an avid fisherman, he liked to plant vegetables in his back yard every summer, going to church and tinkering in his tool shed. He was kind, outgoing, hardworking, funny and always eager to help others.

He will be remembered as a great father, brother, man and friend.

Danilo leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife, family and friends.

Visitations will be held Friday, April 11, 2025 at J.C. Kirby & Son lovers Lane Chapel from 9 a.m. - 1p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 2pm, on Friday April 11th, 2025. There will be a 3 P.M. Burial to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Church.
