He is survived by: his wife Sheila Alvey; his children, Harley Long (Donard Trowbridge) and Darrell Long; his granddaughters, Rosie, Bella and Stella; and his siblings, Sabrina Alvey (Gabino) and Jonathon Alvey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
