Dascal Lee Hood Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dascal Lee Hood of Bowling Green, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 16, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Dascal may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dascal touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Leslie Hood and Edith Joyce Hood (Hope); and his granddaughter Sarah Hood. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Evelyn Hood (Rouse); his children, Michael Lee Hood (Beverly), Kelly Scott Hood (Tish) and Cindy Loraine Hood; his brother Gary Allen Hood (Lynne); and his grandsons, Alex Powell (Zach) and Daniel Hood. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
