He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Fields and Fannie Harper Fields; his wife Deborah Lynn Fields; and his siblings, Clarence Fields, Junior Fields, Susie Bennett, Ruthie Miller and Priscilla Bragg.
He is survived by: his daughter Kristen Fields Childress (Jeremy); and his brother Lonnie Fields. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home (901 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101). The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home (901 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101).
