He is survived by: his wife Patricia Simmons; his sons, Billy Roger Simmons (Jeri) and Joshua David Simmons (Wanda); his grandchildren, Sophia Simmons, Owen Tyler Simmons, Austin Simmons, Cason Simmons, Jesse-Lynn Trimm, Christopher Trimm and Wesley Leedom; his great grandchildren, Russ Simmons and Noelle Simmons; his siblings, Joy Helson, Emma Keown, Cecil Simmons and Martha Helson; and his father-in-law Billy Allen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
