He is survived by: his wife Dorthy Ruth Carter; his children, David Louis Mimms (Yuan) of Adairville, KY, Traci Ann Carter of Bowling Green, KY and Harry Jason Carter (Mitzi) of Bowling Green, KY.; his grandchildren, Troy Mimms, Ryan Mimms, Rachel Stewart, Yaocong Huang (Charlie), Connor Gravette, Emily Gravette, Nathaniel Carter and Jaden Carter; and his great great grandchildren, Henry Mimms and Grant Mimms.
