He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Cloyd Thomas and Dorothy Cary Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Donita Bush Thomas; his daughters, Laura Ford (Chad) and Becca Bouldin (Scott); his granddaughters, Kate Ford, Shelby Ford, Allie Ford, Abbey Bouldin, Brenna Bouldin and Tenley Bouldin; and his sister Linda Thomas of Lexington. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Mission Lazarus, a faith-based nonprofit organization serving Haiti and Honduras that Cary faithfully supported and had the privilege of volunteering on a mission trip.
