It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dessie Dile (Bowling Green, Kentucky), who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lindsey Compton and Vinnie Bunch Compton; her children, Shelia Hardin and Kim Dile; and her granddaughters, Angie Atkins and Emily Dile.
She is survived by: her husband Jim H. Dile; her children, Kathy Harper (Chris), Tommy Compton (Natalie), Jimmy K. Dile (Jennifer), Kevin Dile (Arlene) and Stevie Dile; and her grandchildren, Christy Holder (Dwight), James Compton, Johnny Compton (Gayla) and Geoffrey Compton (Sandra). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
