He was predeceased by: his wife Ramona Hornbeck (Stone); his parents, Dewey Hornbeck, Sr. and Anna May Hornbeck Hunt (Taubenberger); his stepfather Charles Hunt; his brother John William Hornbeck; his sister-in-law Evelyn Stone; his niece Sally Hornbeck; and his great grandchild Aaliyah.
He is survived by: his children, Alice Lynn Kummer and Donald Arthur Hornbeck (Lilia); his grandchildren, Jorge Obradovich, Chris (Lauren), Kelly, Katherine, Kristina, Lisa (Mat) and John; his great grandchildren, Ava, Charlie, Anna, Harrison, Cam, Reggie, Ella, Mateo and Luc; his sister-in-law Marge Hornbeck; his niece Judy Glowinski (Tom); and his great-nieces, Stephanie Senko (Billy) and Sabrina Geisler.
