He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Frances Sowell and Eugene Madison Sowell. He is survived by: his wife Hollie Moore Sowell; his sons, Clay (Megan) and Matt (Camryn); his grandson Camden; and his brothers, Ron (Debra) and John (Lee Ann). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
