She was predeceased by: her parents, James Whitehead and Blanche Whitehead; her husband Floyd Hicks, Jr.; and her son Tim Hicks. She is survived by: her children, Darlene Brown (Mike) and Keith Hicks (Tammy); her grandchildren, Michael Brown (Michelle), Heather Causey (Todd), Danielle Spurgeon (Ryan), Ryan Hicks, Josh Hicks (Brittany), Stephen Hicks (Tiffany) and Benjamin Hicks; her great grandchildren, Tashauna, Tyler, Nevaeh, Gavin, Gage, Alyssa, Landon, Finnley, Carson and Mabry; her great great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Kinleigh, Greyson and Kade; and her close friend Diane Childers. She is also survived by brother, several sisters, nephews, nieces and cousins.
