She is survived by: her sons, Joe Simmons (Donna) of Bowling Green, Kentucky. and Russell Simmons of Bowling Green, Kentucky.; her grandchildren, Joseph and Katrina Simmons; her great grandchild Abbey Simmons; and her sister Cynthia Elmore.
