He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Roscoe Faulkner and Elizabeth Dailey Faulkner; and his brother Dr. Baird Faulkner. He is survived by: his wife Martha Faulkner; his daughters, Joy Gerk (Phil) of Mechanicsville, VA and Elaine Mason (Brent) of Bowling Green, KY; his grandchildren, Andrew Mason (Emily) of Madison, AL, David Mason (Lauren) of Louisville, KY, Kate Buser (Jay) of Bowling Green, KY, Kelly Gerk of Mechanicsville, VA, Molly Grace Gerk of Champagne, IL and Lydia Gerk of Wood Dale, IL; his great grandchild Nolan Mason; and his siblings, John Faulkner, Kay Story and Beverly Wallace.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Faith Methodist Church (600 Veterans Memorial Ln, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Fair View Cemetery (800-898 Mill St, Leitchfield, KY 42754).
