She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Garrett and Exie Ray Milam Garrett; and her siblings, Betty Louise Lee, Lavonne Woodward, Brenda Sue Garrett, Paula Garrett, Mary Sowders, Wilbur Garrett, William Garrett, Donald Garrett and Harold Garrett.
She is survived by: her daughter Jaquatta Summers; her brothers, John Garrett, Larry Garrett (Cynthia), Tommy Garrett (Carolyn) and David Garrett (Glenda); her grandsons, Johnathan Wesley Akin (Brooke) and Tyler Benjamin Summers; her great grandchildren, Hudson Akin, Emerson Akin and Holt Akin; her sister-in-law Linda Garrett; and her caregivers, Barbara Goodbread and Linna Sthal. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and two special neighbors.
