He was predeceased by: his father Charles Edward; and his brother Gregory Copeland. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Maggie" Copeland; his children, Gabriel Copeland (Bridget), Nicholas Copeland (Heather), Andrew Copeland (Serena), Alicia Rich, Olivia Carroll and Tanya Oakey (Todd); his siblings, Randa Copeland, Robert Copeland (T. J.), Daniel Copeland (Adelaide) and Byron Copeland (Melissa); and his mother-in-law Hendrika Bohlen. He is also survived by grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
