He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ann Chinn McCoy; his parents, Mathie McCoy and Stella McCoy (Thompson); and his siblings, Nada Hardcastle, Bernice Decker, Anna Lou Flowers, Sue Porter, Edwin McCoy and Curtis T. McCoy.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Lynn McCoy and Donna Jean (McCoy); his grandchildren, William Keith Brown (Rachel) and Elizabeth Renee Brown; and his great grandchildren, Anna Margaret Brown and William James Brown. He is also survived by Father that enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
