He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Lightcap and Anna Lightcap (Peg); his son Danny Lightcap; his wife Patricia; his daughters, Kathy Hunt (Jeff) of Bowling Green and Dawn Van Slambrook (David) of Fishkill; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Hunt (Brittany), Kelli Neal (C. J.), Katarina Wallington (Jonathan) and Caleigh Van Slambrook (Travis Mittelstadt); his great grandchildren, Theo Hunt, Charlotte Hunt, Lucy Hunt and Jemma Neal; and his brother William Lightcap.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Greenwood Baptist Church – new building fund, where his great-granddaughter now fills the halls with joy.
