He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lee Diemer and Josephine McNamara Diemer; his wife Veronica Pais Diemer; and his brother Joseph Diemer. He is survived by: his daughters, Debora Burroughs, Patricia Chandler (Chuck) and Catherine Diemer; his sisters, Joan Dewhurst and Linda Nuckols; his grandchildren, Adrianne Johnson (Nate), Christian Chandler, Danielle Diemer and Julianna Burroughs; and his great grandchildren, Audrey Johnson and Cade Johnson.
