She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Compton and Cleo Lyons Compton; her husband Medford Skaggs; her children, Roger Dale and Lisa Ann Skaggs; her sister Geneva Rich; and her brothers-in-law, Albert Rich and Clifford Peay.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Skaggs, Judy Dukes (Don) and Joe Skaggs; her grandchildren, Melinda Young, Nick Skaggs, Amber Poynter, Matt Skaggs, Brandon Dukes and Haley Hughes; and her sisters, Brenda Brawner and Jean Peay. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and two special care givers.
