He was predeceased by: his mother Mary IAnn Newburry Denton; and his foster daughter Elizabeth Bane. He is survived by: his father Clyde Thomas Denton of Hermitage, TN; his wife Barbara Long Denton of Bowling Green, KY; his stepdaughter Samantha J. Mueller (Alex) of Bowling Green, KY; and his sisters, Vickie York (Mike) of Nashville, TN and Debbie Collier (Mike).
