With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jennifer Lynnette Shourds of Bowling Green, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2026 at the age of 49. She was predeceased by: her sister Carrie Melissa Wells; her grandparents, Evelyn Jean "Nini" Sheldon, Darrell Sheldon, Alvie J. and Gartha Wells; her great-grandparent Altha Pearl; and her grandmother McDaniel.
She is survived by: her parents, David W. Wells and Debra Sheldon Wells; her husband Adam Shourds; her children, Luke Shourds (Brooke), Isaac Shourds (Isabelle) and Sarah Grace Mendoza Shourds (Vismay); her siblings, David W. Wells, Jr. (Bethany) and Kathy Lewis (Kent); and her nieces and nephews, Jackson Lewis, Grant Lewis, Easton Wells, Kyland Shourds, Hannah Lewis and Maci Shourds.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Broadway United Methodist Church "Growing Forward" Campaign to expand our preschool and ministries to families.
