He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Mills and Dorothy Wilson Mills; his sister Johnnie Bailey; his nephew Timmy Elmore; and his brother-in-law Paul Elmore.
He is survived by: his sisters, Jean Simmons (James), Joyce Walker (Harold) and Peggy Bledsoe; and his nieces and nephews, Terry Elmore (Ilene), Lisa Thompson (Billy), Phillip "Sput" Houchins, Larry Houchins (Melinda), Debbie Houchins, Mark Walker, Tara Shaun Perdue (Tommy) and Brent Bledsoe (Monica).
