She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Johnson and Gladys Irene Bolton-Johnson; her son Terry Dale Duncan; and her siblings, Alice Lorene Johnson-Wilson and Virgil Leon "Tomboy" Johnson.

She is survived by : her husband Simpson Odell Duncan; her son Bobby Joe Duncan; and her sister Barbara Jean Burnett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
