He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel Hoyle and Helen McAlpine Hoyle; and his sister Sally Mederios. He is survived by : his wife Angie Stewart Hoyle; his children, Alison McAlpine Lawless and Johnathan "Joff" Stewart Hoyle; his grandchildren, Sage Stewart Lawless and Johnathan Avery Hoyle; his great grandchild Micah Jackson; and his sister Gail Garrett.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home (901 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101).
