He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hicklin and Elsie Offutt Hicklin; his wife Reba Noffsinger Hicklin; his siblings, Tommy Hicklin, Bill Hicklin, Wes Hicklin, John Hicklin and Wilma Brown; and his stepmother Mattie Toombs Hicklin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Hartman (Tim) of Bowling Green, KY and Amy Messamore (Jason) of Green Bay, WI; his grandsons, Nicholas and Ethan Messamore of Green Bay, WI; and his sisters, Mary Alice Davis (Johnnie) and Pearl Quinn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
