Kathy E. Spinks Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy E. Spinks of Bowling Green, Kentucky, who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Simmons and Ersie Spinks Simmons; her son Dennis Simmons; and her siblings, Roy Basham, Jeffery Simmons, Faye Lancaster and Alta Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, William Basham (Randy Allen), Charles Spinks, Melodie Phelps and Donna Basham Canler (Stephen); her grandchildren, Tamecka Phelps (Joshua Lewis) and Chase Phelps (Lindsey Rinquette); and her siblings, Judy Simmons, Opal Cardwell (Carlos) and Johnny Simmons.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hardy & Son Funeral Home (3098 Louisville Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (1209 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42103).
