She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Elzie and Lola Alice Powell Burke; her husband William'Bill'Franklin Sr.; her son William'Billy'Lewis Franklin Jr.; and her grandson William Anthony Franklin.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Franklin (Andrea) and Melissa Minton (Ronnie); her sister Alice Faye Hill; her grandchildren, Jesse Franklin, Kayla Franklin, Aleah Foushee (Adam), Madolyn Franklin and Allyson Franklin; and also, Prentis and Becky Willis. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; her special friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the J. C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel (832 Broadway Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
