He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Martin Russell and Elta Lucille Cline Russell; his sons, James Dewayne Key and Roy Douglas Lewis, Sr.; and his siblings, Donald Russell and Linda Sims.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Key Russell; his daughters, Melissa Ann Russell (Angela) and Latisha Hunt (Greg); his grandchildren, Roy Douglas Lewis, Jr. (Grace), Travis Lynn Lewis (Sasha), Jon Matthew Lewis, Emma Ray (Kameron), Matthew Key, Titus Driskill, Grace Haley, McKenzie Russell Forshee and Isabel Matteson; his great grandchild Kiley Gene Ray; and his brother-in-law Bobby Key (Twana). He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
