Larry Basham Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on November 6, 2025, Larry Basham of Bowling Green, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marion Basham and Zada Nash Basham; his grandson Aaron Wingfield; and his siblings, Nita Burch, Gail Basham, Faye Basham, Marion Basham, James and Gary Basham.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy A. Basham; his children, Ginny Basham of Cyprus, TX, Tonja Wingfield (Larry) and John Murphy (Melanie) of Bowling Green; his siblings, Donna Brown (Danny), Diane Burch (Roger), Karen Wilson (Bub), Dennis Basham (Barb) and Jay Basham (Rhonda); and his grandchildren, Ashley Roberts (Tim), Jennifer Phelps (Greg), Clarissa Skillern (Josh), Amanda Miller (Justin), Jonathan Murphy (Faith), Rebecca Murphy and Nathaniel Murphy. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his honor to his favorite charity, Norton's (Kosairs) Children's Hospital in Louisville, KY.
