He was predeceased by: his parents, Glendon Maples and Glendeen Raymer Maples; and his sister Barbara Howard. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Maples; his children, Scott Maples, John Maples (Alley) and Becky Sanders (Allen); his sister Lois Holbrook (Michael); and his sister-in-law Brenda Gillon (Randy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews along with several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the J. C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel (832 Broadway Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101).
