He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy H. Johnson and Maggie Johnson (Wray); his former wife Betty Johnson; and his sons, Tony Johnson and Jeffery Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Johnson (Bratcher); his sons, Steve Johnson (Patty) and James Murray Johnson; and his stepdaughter Celeste Edwards (Tice).
