The passing of Lewis H. Simpson of Bowling Green, Kentucky occurred on September 16, 2026. Lewis, born on February 8, 1948, is remembered by those who knew him. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, L. H. Simpson, Sr. and Margaret Martin Simpson; and his brother-in-law Maxey Bryson. He is survived by: his wife Anita Grimes Simpson; his daughter Kellie Simpson; his sisters, Darlene Bryson, Carol Craviotto (Dan) and Marquetta Newson (Allen); his friend Darrell Alford; and his pets, Tanner and Duke. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins; several special grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hardy & Son Funeral Home (3098 Louisville Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at the Mt Olivet Church Cemetery.
