With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lonnie Cockriel of Bowling Green, Kentucky, who passed away on July 12, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ezra Cockriel and Janie Cockriel (Gary); his former wife Toby Ann Cockriel; his wife Lois Dee Cockriel; and his stepdaughter Cilicia Penders-Womac.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Cockriel and Vickie Travis (Marty); his stepdaughter Cynthia Penders-Kirby; his grandchildren, Brooks Cockriel, Lindsay Neering (Travis) and Matthew Travis; his stepgrandchildren, Dustin Kirby, Haley Merriman (Jacob), Caitlin Kirby and Heath Kirby (Maddie); his great grandchildren, Lilly Tucker and Layla Tucker; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kembry and Kase Merriman.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Lonnie's memory to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
