With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Madena Carol Basham of Bowling Green, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Madena left this world on November 10, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Duncan and Willadean Kirby Duncan. She is survived by: her husband John Basham of Bowling Green; her daughter Amanda DeAnn Basham of Nicholasville, KY.; and her siblings, Michelle McGuire, Sharon Johnson (Sondraus) and Jay Duncan (Cyndi) of Bowling Green, KY.. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the J. C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel (832 Broadway Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (1209 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42103).
