She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxie Wood and Texann Wood; her husband William Eugene Harston, Sr.; and her siblings, Marjorie Wood Thompson and Charles Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. William E. "Gene" Harston, Jr. (Deborah) of Bowling Green, KY, Dr. Phil Harston (Jana), Pat Harston McGuffey and Dr. Pam; her siblings, Stanley Wood (Terrie) of Bowling Green, KY, Barbara Stinson and Mary Pergrem (Dwayne); her sister-in-law Doris Wood of Fountain Run, KY; her grandchildren, Billy Harston, Matthew McGuffey (Jamie), Monica Porter (Brandon), Lindsey Trent (Shawn), Jeremiah Harston (Catherine), Drew Harston (Carol), Sam Matthews and Morgan McGuire (Jerrod); her great grandchild Madison McGuffey Pace (Matt); and her grandchildren, Emma McGuffey, Ella, Henry Trent, Maddox, Isaac, Eliza, Jameson, Millie Porter, James, Collier, Walter, Luke, Jenna and Grant Harston. She is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
