It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Dean Stokes (Bowling Green, Kentucky), who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Dean and Rhoda Dean; her son John Stokes; and her siblings, Lawrence Dean, Fred Dean, Mary Alice Terry and Clara Tomlinson.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Stokes of Bowling Green, Kentucky; her daughter Jan Casada (Keith) of Woodburn, Kentucky; her daughter-in-law Sherry Hale Stokes of Bowling Green, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Jennifer Barth (Heath) of Shepherdsville, Alan Casada (Emily) of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Justin Casada (Emily) of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Nicole Stokes of Bowling Green, Kentucky and John Stokes of Bowling Green, Kentucky; and her sisters, Oleta Kimbrough of O'fallon, Bea Roy of Fayetteville and Freida Webb of Skiatook, Oklahoma. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
