He was predeceased by: his father Edgar Gibbons. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Holden Gibbons; his children, Evelyn Renaye Shipp (Jason), Michael Anderson Gibbons and John Anthony Shipp (Amie); his grandchildren, James Anthony Joiner (Bailey), Sarah Olivia Joiner, Clay, Jay Shipp and Kieran Victor Gibbons; and his siblings, Shatan Kennedy, Patricia Brannon and Arden Mueller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
