He is survived by: his wife Sally Nicks Tanaro; his children, Dana Tanaro Britt (Jerry), Trent Tanaro (Marlana), Julie Tanaro-Phelps (Kevin), Patrick Fischer (Sarah) and Nathan Fischer (Zenaida); his grandchildren, Jay Britt, Meghan Britt-Mills (Clayton), Timothy Tanaro, Tyler Tanaro, Charlotte Spears (Sean-Eric), Emily Thompson, Isaiah Thompson, Mollie Thompson, Hunter Applegarth, Emma Fischer and Millie Fischer; and his siblings, Juanita Gerakas, Celeste Tanaro Johnson (Kenny), Tania Tanaro Ashby (Mark), Tami Tanaro Cohron (Terry) and Tony Tanaro (Andrea). He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
