He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lloyd and Nina Mae Johnson West; his brother Kevin Dale West; his nephew William Dale West; and his granddaughter Livia Winter Gray.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Machell Ballard, Kyla Marie Dockery (Shawn) and Crystal Gail Page (Andrew); his grandchildren, Carlee Morgan Ballard, Chloe Jewele Slaughter (Riley), Cardyn Kwynn Dockery, Zachary Reed Miles, Carson Kennedy Page and Harrison "Harry" Michael Page; and his great grandchildren, Fox Raynor Miles and Axel Frederick Miles. He is also survived by uncle, aunt and cousins.
